The DSCSITSC central Library has a large number of text book & reference books. Library has more than 42,000+ books. Beside from general dictionaries, career guidance and management books are available. In the reading room user can access books related to various competitive examinations, career/service, and journals/magazines on current information, general knowledge, and other materials for consultation separately. Beside from that, valuable books are included in this collection. Some books in the Reference section are not intended to be loaned.
To get a book for home reading, users should write their name of the author, title of the book, Call Number, Accession Number etc. in a printed requisition slip available in the Circulation Counter. All books in the library are arranged in the department wise classified order under various departments. The correct call number ensures quick location of the books in the shelves.
